Quality Materials
In terms of materials, the Wild Country Axis 2 is made from high-quality fabrics that are designed to be weather-resistant and durable. The flysheet is made from Protex 70D polyester fabric, which is both waterproof and breathable, while the bathtub-style floor is made from durable 70D nylon.
Living Space
One of the standout features of the Wild Country Axis 2 is its dome-style design, which provides a stable and weather-resistant structure. The tent has two poles that crisscross over the top to create a dome shape, which helps to shed wind and rain. The tent is also designed to be freestanding, which makes it easy to set up and move around as needed. The tent has a floor area of 2.5 square meters and a peak height of 1.1 meters, which is enough space for two people to sit up comfortably. It also has two doors, which provide easy access to the interior, and two vestibules, which provide additional storage space for gear.
Ventilation
The tent is also well-ventilated, with mesh panels on the inner tent and two vents on the flysheet. This helps to reduce condensation inside the tent, which can be a problem in humid or wet conditions. The tent also has internal storage pockets, which provide a convenient place to keep your smaller items organized and within reach.
Extra features
The Wild Country Axis 2 is relatively lightweight for a two-person tent, with a minimum weight of 2.62kg. This makes it a good choice for backpackers who are looking for a tent that is easy to carry and won't weigh them down on long hikes. The tent also has a compact packed size, which makes it easy to pack and transport. Setting up the Wild Country Axis 2 is relatively easy, thanks to its color-coded poles and clips. It is also designed to be weather-resistant, with a flysheet that is rated to withstand up to 4000mm of water pressure.
Why Should You Buy This Tent?
Overall, the Wild Country Axis 2 Dome Tent is a solid choice for backpackers and outdoor enthusiasts who need a reliable and weather-resistant shelter for their adventures. Its dome-style design, weather-resistant materials, and ample interior space make it a great option for two people looking for a comfortable and easy-to-use tent.
